You and I Were Meant To Be

We just celebrated another Valentine’s Day. It’s a day that will always be special to me. Sixteen years ago, my husband proposed at a restaurant in London. He had thought it all out even bringing the waiter into his plan. It was a perfect night.

And I said yes!

I wanted to share the song Jeff wrote and sung to me at our wedding.

You and I Were Meant To Be

(by Jeff Turner)

You and I will always be

In love eternally

And from now until the end

I’ll always be your best friend

We can make it through the night

And we can make it through the day

I know we will

And I will be right here for you

Just like I’ve always wanted to

Cause you and I were meant to be.

15th

When the wind blows through the trees

Like a sweet magnolia breeze

And the moon and stars above

Will shine upon our love

You and I will finally know

This is where we should go

Till time moves on

Out amongst the great divine

With you by my side

Cause you and I were meant to be

jeff and dar

We can make it through the night

And we can make it through the day

I know we will

And I will be right here for you

Just like I’ve always wanted to

Cause you and I were meant to be.

We only go through life one time

And I want you to be mine

Until the end of time

Share your Valentine Day story. We’d love to hear from you!
