Do you remember when…you rode your first bike?
Do you remember when…you played hide and seek?
Do you remember when…you went to camp and had a ball with other kids your age?
The list could go on and on, couldn’t it? I remember our family used to love to go camping (we still do!). Mom and Dad would pack up our soft top trailer, us kids, and head out with our friends, the Smith’s. We traveled many kilometers and had SO much fun! It brings a smile to my face.
Where have the years gone? Do you ever wish you could go back in time and relive some of those amazing memories? I do!
Murray and Susan, do you remember when…we played for hours in our tree-house on Harrison Mountain? What joyous times those were (even if Murray picked on me)! 😀
Do you remember when…
You fill in the blank.
Share your favorite childhood memory. I would love to hear from you!
Of course I remember. I loved that tree house!!! We were quite the builders! I love thinking on such things from the past. It helps me be thankful for the legacy of Mom & Dad and for what I have now. Thanks Sissy for sharing this! Love ya
We were quite creative. We all had our little ‘rooms’ within the tree-house. So much fun! Yes, it definitely makes me thankful too!
Horseback riding. Flying over the Rockies on our way to visit my brother and his wife. The giant Scotch pine my dad cut down and brought into the house each Christmas. Two huge owls flying over the house one winter night. Reading Dr. Seuss and P.D. Eastman books . . . and later Nancy Drew Mysteries. TV on our old black and white. Adam-12. Emergency. The original Star Trek. Saturday morning cartoons. And horseback riding. Did I mention horseback riding? 😀
Lots of memories!! I love it. Thanks for sharing. Oh…did you say you went horseback riding? 😉
One of my favorite memories was my Dad packing us all up in the car after baths on Saturday night and head off somewhere for ice cream!!!! My Dad although stricken with Alzheimer’s now was an amazing Dad. He gave the best hugs! God bless you Dad!
That’s so much fun!!! Great memories!
