Happy Labour/Labor Day everyone! (Just covering all my bases!) 🙂 Hope you’re all enjoying the last official weekend of summer. Can you believe it has come to an end? How did it sneak by so fast?
I have to admit…I’m glad the summer of 2014 is over. It was a tough one for me. I faced stresses around every corner. I felt my well had run dry and I couldn’t face anymore.
However, God was with me every step of the way. He washed me with His waterfall of peace. Dumped me with buckets of hope and gave me the strength to make it through the day.
I love the words of Chris Tomlin’s newest song, Waterfall. His love is like a waterfall. It runs wild and free.

I am glad I was able to come along side you in our precious time at the cottage and through continual prayer to support you through this journey. This song is powerful. Great song Darlene. I love Chris Tomlin. Sorry to hear of struggles. Sometimes life just isn’t what we hoped it would be or God allows things to cross our paths that we don’t want. I don’t get it. Maybe some day I will. I don’t know. You certainly have a gift. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Dar. Sorry to hear you had a rough summer. It happens sometimes when we least expect it. But, it’s encouraging to know that God is never surprised! I was reminded of that this summer and shared my experience in my recent post.
