Thanksgiving has always been special for our family, but this year was extra special. Our niece, Vanessa, married her prince! Jeff and I travelled to Halifax to take in the festivities. We were able to do some sight-seeing as well. Here are some pictures. Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m so thankful for my family. They are dear to me and I love them very much!

What are you thankful for?

Psalm 100:4 (KJV)

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

We arrived in Halifax and checked into our Palace – The Prince George Hotel.

The next day we did some sightseeing on the waterfront. Halifax is beautiful!

Then came time for the rehearsal. Here we are at the party!

I wanted to leave you with the song Jeff wrote and sang for Vanessa and David. Such a special moment. Congratulations, Vanessa and David! We’re so happy for you! Love you! xo

Final Thanksgiving Thoughts

My sister and I were able to end our weekend in Halifax with a visit to see my brother and sister-in-law. Murray has been discharged from the hospital, but has to stay as an outpatient in Halifax. Friends have been gracious to let them stay with them. You should see their place. I call it a little piece of heaven! Such a gift from God. These final pictures are from that visit.

I’m thankful for Mur’s continued healing process and for his amazing wife. Natalie, you’ve been a rock by his side every step of the way. Thank you. I love you both very much. xo

Their piece of heaven:
