Have there been times when your struggles have been so tough you’ve walked away? Given up on God?
I’m sure there have been moments in all of our lives when we’ve questioned, Why, God? Why did You let this happen?
dancingThis week a fellow employee had to go through a horrific loss. One that no parent should have to go through. And yes, the thought raced through my mind. Why, God?
I don’t know the answer. There are many questions we may never know the answers to this side of Heaven. But what I do know is that God does keep us in the palm of His hands. Even when we think He doesn’t. Even in the deepest and darkest moments of life when things are unbearable, He’s there. (Click to tweet)
If you’re hanging on to the edge of a cliff right now with the tips of your fingers, LET GO. God will catch you.
Fall into His arms.
Let Him be your strength.
Come back to Him.
Then dance. He’s got a HUGE dance floor.
How about it? Yes, there will be a time to mourn and work through any type of loss. When it’s over, I say . . . Let’s dance!
God’s Great Dance Floor (by Chris Tomlin)
Listen to the words of this song. Come back to Him and let your feet move. 🙂

Love this truth…why do we hold on to our pain? Letting go and falling into our Saviors arms is the only way…Lets just do it!!! And then DANCE on “Gods Great Dance Floor”…we need to practice up because that is what we will be doing for eternity ! YAY!!!

That’s a good question, Sue! Why do we hold on to our pain? Some just find it hard to let go. Others just stay stuck. In order to move on, we need to let go. It’s so hard, though. There’s lots of room on that dance floor. Thanks for your thoughts! And yes, there will be lots of dancing in eternity and heaven knows, we Baptists need the practice! ha ha! 😉
