Another Day, Another Dali by Sandra Orchard
Serena Jones stumbles on to another intriguing mystery when her grandmother approaches her about taking a friend’s case—off the books. A valuable painting has been stolen and Serena can’t resist a good mystery, especially when it comes to stolen art, so she plunges in feet first.
And soon everyone else is involved too—from her quirky aunt to her hunky partner and good-looking superintendent. Even though she’s trying to keep the investigation on the down low. And who’s taking shots at her? The mysterious clues keep piling up.
Two men are vying for her attention. They both have great qualities. Which one will she choose?
Another Day, Another Dali is a great read by Sandra Orchard. This cozy mystery will have you biting your nails and laughing the next minute. Ms. Orchard has created an awesome cast of characters and they’re back for another intriguing puzzle.
I have to admit, I found book 2 in the Serena Jones Mystery series a bit slow in the beginning and also confusing at times and had to go back a few pages every now and then to get back on track. However, once I got into the story more it flowed well and I wanted to catch the clues and figure it out along with Serena.
I love the characters in this book. Each one is quirky in their own way, especially Aunt Martha. Everyone needs an Aunt Martha! Even Harold the cat has a personality all his own. I love Serena’s interaction with the trusted and wacky feline. Priceless.
I kept wanting Serena to choose between the two men and see a little more romance in the book. I’ve finally chosen a side. I’m on Team Tanner. Yay!
I enjoyed this book and definitely look forward to book 3 in the series.
I give Another Day, Another Dali four forgeries. It’s a mystery you’ll want to solve!
