Even worse, his intent becomes deadly after a rash of incidents leave Landry and Nickolai working together instead of against each other, making it impossible to stop their growing feelings.

Can these recovery specialists find the mysterious and most sought after map before it’s too late on this deadly game of cat and mouse? Or will the legends and folklore catch up with them?

Weaver’s Needle by Robin Caroll is a delightful story for any age and leaves the reader turning the pages in this race against the clock. It has lots of twists and will keep you guessing on who the opponent is. The plot is solid and moves forward nicely.

The characters are well rounded and jump off the page to the reader. They will find it hard to side with either Landry or Nickolai but will love both. This is well done by the author.

The Native American folklore throughout was interesting and added mystery to the story. You can tell the author did her research on this aspect.

The setting was perfect for this national treasure type of story. The Superstition Mountains and Weaver’s Needle was the best background and I could picture everything as Landry and Nickolai made their way to the mine.
