Deadly Heritage By Marissa Shrock
Georgia Rae Winston is enjoying her life—her farming life, love life, and now her grandfather’s wedding is fast approaching. Nothing could go wrong.
But, then again . . .
Havoc sets in as a close friend, Beverly, is murdered after her prodigal daughter arrives back in town after years of silence. The woman who broke Georgia’s father’s heart.
The death suspiciously reminds Georgia of her father’s murder, and she’s determined to find out the answers to the pieces of the puzzle, but will it cost her more than she bargained for? Her perfect life is about to be turned upside down.
Marissa Shrock has done it again! This is the third book in the Georgia Rae Winston Mysteries series and it didn’t disappoint! It captured me from the first page and I found myself immersed in the mystery and turning the pages until the end. The plot and suspects kept me guessing and this is the sign of a well-crafted story. Well done, Ms. Shrock!
I love this author’s voice. It’s fresh, witty, and captivating. Her use of imagery throughout helps me to picture every scene.
I also like that the faith aspect is organic to the story. Just enough to pull at the reader’s heartstrings, but not enough to turn anyone off.
I can’t wait to read the next in this series!
I give Deadly Heritage five bridal bouquets. This excellent mystery will keep you guessing right to the very end!
