Silent Shadows By Natalie Walters
All Pecca Gallegos wants to do is provide stellular nursing to her patients and raise her son in the quiet town of Walton, Georgia, but someone has other plans. Her world is turned upside down when her past returns to haunt her and she struggles with whether or not to flee…again.
Army Captain Colton Crawford comes to Walton in hopes of recovering from his disorder but when his nurse is threatened, he goes into protective mode.
Can Pecca and Colton discover who’s behind the threat while coming to terms with their feelings for each other before it’s too late?
Natalie Walters shines in this third and final installment of her Harbored Secrets series. Silent Shadows kept me turning the pages from the very beginning to find out what happens to these characters. The plot was solid with some twists that I really enjoyed.
I absolutely loved all the characters in this book. Pecca and Colton grabbed my heart as well as Maceo. The nurses and older patients in the Mansion made me laugh out loud.
The imagery used throughout was superb and places the reader right into the town of Walton. You will hold your breath as you wait for the mystery to unfold.
I give Silent Shadows five footballs. This pulse-dropping finale will keep you reading into the night to finish! Can’t wait for Natalie’s next series!
