Airborne By DiAnn Mills
Houston FBI agent Heather Lawrence only wants to get away to grieve her struggling marriage, but hours after takeoff she awakens to mass panic as a deadly virus spreads over her transatlantic flight. The pilot is forced to land in New York to take those infected to a hospital and the rest of the passengers are quarantined to an island.
Heather assists with the FBI as they discover the virus was deliberately unleashed and the prime suspect is none other than her estranged husband, Dr. Chad Lawrence. As people are dying, Heather races to uncover the truth and struggles to trust anyone on their quarantined island.
Can she solve the mystery and save her marriage before it’s too late?
Just when I thought the previous book was DiAnn Mills’ best, this one knocks it out of the park. Riveting. Suspenseful. Edge-of-your-seat thriller. What more can I say? DiAnn is one of the best in the romantic suspense genre.
This story will keep the reader guessing until the end. It’s full of twists and turns. The characters are superb. Imagery amazing. Conflict riveting.
I give Airborne 5 stars. Once the reader boards this flight, they’re in for a ride!
Note: Airborne was written and edited long before COVID-19 struck our world. This novel gives hope in our pandemic.
