Deadly Heartbreak by Marissa Shrock
Georgia Rae Winston is back with Detective Cal Perkins and finally has her happily ever after. Or does she? Someone has targeted her at her home and accuses her of being a heartbreaker. This thrusts both her and Cal into a mystery that hits too close to home. Georgia’s family and friends are in danger. Georgia must solve it fast—or die trying.
Marissa Shrock does it again with this final installment in her Georgia Rae Winston Mysteries. I loved Deadly Heartbreak. The mystery kept me turning the pages to find out who the killer was and I gotta say…the identity took me by surprise!
The characters came to life on the page. I loved Georgia’s friends and stepbrothers. The twins are a hoot!
The imagery used throughout was effective. I could see myself with Georgia in the fields, her farm, coffee shop, and other areas of the town while she played detective.
It was a fitting ending to these great mysteries. I can’t wait to read this author’s next series!
I give Deadly Heartbreak five hearts. This excellent finale will keep you guessing right to the very end!
