The Paris Betrayal by James R. Hannibal

International spy Ben Calix returns to Paris only to find betrayal around every corner. His mission had somehow been sabotaged, leaving him labeled as a traitor by the Company. Now everyone is after him. Snipers. French SWAT forces. The Company.

Ben is forced to go out on his own and search for answers. However, an innocent woman is caught up in the process and disappears after she saves his life. Can Ben find her, prove his innocence, stop those threatening to release a bioweapon, and stay alive?

Wow…just wow! The Paris Betrayal has breathtaking action scenes, keeping the reader turning the pages. Twists upon twists will surprise you around every corner. I loved this book and was glued from the first line.

This is the first book I’ve read by James R. Hannibal and I’m now a fan. The plot kept me reading and the suspense held me in its grip. It’s a fast read and the characters are likable. Can’t wait to see what spy adventure is next for Ben Calix.

I give The Paris Betrayal five stars. If you enjoy a roller coaster ride that keeps you gripping the bar so you won’t fall out, trust me…you will like this book.

About James R. Hannibal

Former stealth pilot, James R. Hannibal is no stranger to secrets and adventure. He has been shot at, locked up with surface to air missiles, and chased down a winding German road by an armed terrorist. He is a two-time Silver Falchion award-winner for his Section 13 mysteries for kids and a Thriller Award nominee for his Nick Baron covert ops series for adults.

James lives in Houston with his beautiful wife and two amazing sons. He is a rare multi-sense synesthete, meaning all of his senses intersect. He sees and feels sounds and smells and hears flashes of light. If he tells you the chocolate cake you offered smells blue and sticky, take it as a compliment.
