Covert Amish Investigation by Dana R. Lynn
Police officer Kate Bontrager is assigned to an undercover case that would take her back to the one place she never thought she’d return to—her Amish hometown. Posing as Amish, she’s thrust into danger as soon as she steps foot in her former community.
Abram Burkholder was in love with his “Katie,” but never knew why she left town so abruptly. Now that she’s back and in danger, he vows to protect her, but can he trust his heart not to fall for her all over again?
This romantic suspense novel by Dana R. Lynn will keep the reader turning the pages to find out what happens to these loveable characters. The setting of a former Amish girl turned Englischer sent to work undercover as Amish is a great plotline. Well done.
The characters are solid and likable. You feel yourself cheering them on as they race against the clock. The emotion and sensory details are amazing. I could picture the Amish community and their horse and buggies trotting along the road.
I give Covert Amish Investigation five stars. It’s one riveting tale you’ll want to devour!
**Thank you to the author for a copy of this book. I received no compensation and the opinion in this review is my own.
This sounds like a very interesting story. I have read” Guarding the Amish Midwife” and it was very well written. Are all her books about the Amish people? I am certain that this new book will be as good and maybe better than the previous.
Hi, Aunt Blossom. Most of Dana’s books are Amish. Her books are awesome! She has an upcoming romantic suspense novella in the “Dangerous Pursuits” collection that is not Amish.
