Hurry up . . . and wait.
Seems like that’s all we hear in today’s society. We want everything now. The internet is at our fingertips 24-7, so why do we need to wait?
Right?
There are times in our lives when we feel like we’ve been waiting a long time for some things in our lives. We question God. Why isn’t it happening now? What are You waiting for? We’re ready.
But, are we?
Perhaps there’s a reason God isn’t answering . . . YET. He has something bigger and better in store for us.
Isn’t that just like us though? We think we know what’s best for our lives, so we want it to happen right away. We don’t want to wait.
But we must ask God for direction and patience. He knows best. What can we do while we stop and pause?
Dig deep and see where we need to grow. That’s what I’m going to do.
As long as it takes.
Is there something you’re waiting for in your life? How do you abide the time? Any secrets? Please share. I’d love to hear from you.
Jeremiah 29:11 (VOICE)
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that.
