Do you ever have weeks where you just need a good song to tap your toes? I have. Some days can be hard, and it seems like everything that can go wrong, does. But with God’s help, we can make it through.

I love this song the Booth Brothers sing. It makes me want to get up and move—yes, maybe even dance (gasp!). It not only has an excellent beat, but the words are amazing, too. My favorite line is “Every once in a while I started a fire.”

It makes me think every time. Do I light up for Jesus? Do I start fires (good ones) and show others Christ through my walk? Or do I sit around and hide my light under a bushel?

To be honest, I know there have been times when I haven’t. Shame on me. I need to light up for Christ more often. Every moment. Every day.

Even when my week is going wrong.

It’s what we’re called to do.
