My name tag – lots of colored ribbons this year!

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2015 American Christian Fiction Writer’s (ACFW) Conference in Dallas, Texas this past week. It was a time of learning, pitching my novel to agents and editors, catching up with fellow writers, and meeting new ones. Lots of amazing authors were there – DiAnn Mills, Lynette Eason, Francine Rivers, Brandilyn Collins, Dani Pettry, Robin Caroll, Kristen Heitzmann, Susan May Warren, Rachel Hauck, and many more!

This year our keynote speaker was Bill Myers. He was such a pleasure to listen to! I loved this – “Keep saying “Yes” to God . . . ALL the time!” There have been times when I’ve felt like giving up on my writing, but that’s not what God wants. I need to keep saying YES! 🙂

The week was full of learning and appointments, but ended with the Gala event. Everyone dressed up. So much fun! The Oscar’s for Christian books!

This is my roommate – Kariss Lynch. She’s a great author – check out her Heart of a Warrior SeriesShaken (Book 1) and Shadowed (Book 2). Book 3 is coming out in January, 2016.

We had the best time! So great to see you Darlene and hook up. Sure you don’t want to relocate in Houston?

We did have the best time! It’s always fun hanging out with you. Ha! I do want to learn more about Texas Rangers, so maybe a visit! 😉 Miss you already.
