Breathtaking Suspense

Dangerous Illusions By Irene Hannon

Trish Bailey has had her share of heartache but when a series of memory lapses lead to a tragic death, her life runs out of control. She soon finds herself under police scrutiny and has to defend her actions, but can she remember what happened so she can help solve the mystery? Can she trust those closest to her?

Detective Colin Flynn finds it hard to resist the beautiful Trish Bailey but has to keep her at arm’s length as long as she remains a suspect in a suspicious death. Other questions soon come to the surface and Colin has to protect Trish from an unknown enemy.

Can they solve the mysterious puzzle plaguing Trish before it’s too late? Will they succumb to their growing feelings for each other? Find out in this heart-stopping suspense!

Irene Hannon knows how to weave a clever tale. I found myself intrigued from page one and glued till the end. Dangerous Illusions is a romantic suspense fit for all readers. The plot had lots of twists that will keep you turning the pages.

I fell in love with both Trish and Colin. The characters jumped off the page at me and I cringed whenever Trish was in trouble. I cheered when Colin came to her rescue time after time. The villain kept you guessing. I even loved Trish’s next-door neighbor. Great characters!

The imagery used throughout helped me to picture every scene as well as the deep point of view. Irene Hannon uses her words wisely and it shows.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic suspense and can’t wait for the next one in the Code of Honor series!

I give Dangerous Illusions five stars. You’ll read this one long into the night!
